At new year’s eve I tried to capture some nice photos of the fireworks, without any success. The situation was hectic and the fireworks blasted off one after another so I didn’t have the time to adjust the camera to snap the photos in a satisfying way. So what I did instead was to capture my first bokeh photos ever!
This is my first experiment with shutter speeds to produce different light effects in photography. All photos where taken with a variety of shutter speeds, from ~1sec up to 30sec at the lowest level of ISO (none manipulated in Photoshop, all is pure photography). I love the color spectrum on the first photo.
Autumn is here. Gloominess, melancholy and darkness. But also vivid colors and inspiring contrasts. This is the feeling I’ve tried to capture with the following photos taken on my backyard. By putting in focus the little details we usually never notice as we pass by in our daily stressful lives I hope to convey the spirit of autumn.
