It’s 36 min left to breakfast at work and I’m pondering if I should make a run to the toilet and wash my musk perfume off.
The first time I used the musk perfume by Tea Rose at work my colleagues commented in the car on the way to a meeting, “It smells rose water”. I had to comment, “Well yes, It’s Friday and on Fridays I like to use musk” while I innerly repented that I’d never use Islamic perfume at work again.
Today, three months later, I woke up, performed the Fajr prayer, made a Ghusl (Friday bath) and told myself: “Screw them. It’s Friday, It’s the martyrdom of Imam Jawad(A) and for God’s sake I’m gonna wear some Tea Rose!”
Now one of my female colleagues is standing outside my room in the hall way, is all hysterical and asking me, “It is smelling synthetic flowers!”
I acted like smart telling her, “Synthetic flowers don’t smell.”
She said, “Well ok then, there is some fabricated flower smell in the hall way exactly in this 4 meter area (outside my room)!”
I said, “Well don’t stand there then?”
She said, “Noo! I must find the source so I can get rid of it!! I’m allergic to this!”
I’m like, sobhanaAllah o_O, never use Tea Rose at work again! And I start remembering once again how I felt three months ago..
