The American television network, CBS Broadcasting Inc. (CBS), has interviewed President Ahmadinejad prior to his Un speech. The interview is done by Katie Couric, a Jew whose maternal grandparents where the children of Jewish immigrants from Germany.
In part one of the exclusive interview Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaks about his country’s nuclear ambitions. When Katie Couric says that the international community is worried that Iran, who allegly sponsors state terrorism and wants to wipe Israel of the map, might get an atom bomb President Ahmadinejad respectfully asks wether we should be afraid of Iran who might get an atom bomb or other countries who already have up to 10’000 nuclear war heards!!
In part two President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaks about Iranian protests and his comments regarding the Holocaust. He intellectually slams Katie Couric in the face and renders her into a totally ignorant fool when she starts asking about Neda Agha Sultan’s death and shows pictures of her, and President Ahmadinejad counters with showing the photo of the Hijab martyr Marwa El-Sherbini and asking Katie if she knows her, which she doesn’t!!
Overall a successful interview by President Ahmadinejad. He raises valid and important questions which should be reflected upon and answered.
