Love

My heart rides on the wave of your love.
My soul dance to the melody from your unseen lips.
My body has become your temple, you my idol.
Wherever I cast my sight it falls upon your timeless face.
The robes I have burnt, cloaked in the bare air.
Your smile is my sun in the day.
Your laughter my moon at night.
The senses intoxicated with the water of life.
Long I have been a denier
but from denying myself I have found you.
Love is a flowing rivulet,
it streams naturally as it feel.
You are only a drop beliving to be a sea.
You are a leaf in the storm of love,
which is thrown wherever love please.
There is no you or You,
all is merely love,
but for the eye that can see.
One who has not tasted the fruit of life,
can not discern sweetness from poison,
instead listen to the men of heart.
Fall asleep in the cradle of love,
and you will find life in death..

“My body sleeps but my heart never sleeps.” (Prophet Muhammed(S))
