Khalif upon earth

The question arises when we see such pure men and their miracles, how they are able to do all these “supernatural” things?
The question arises when we see such pure men and their miracles, how they are able to do all these “supernatural” things?

This Question is answer by the Quran itself:

And when your Lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalif…(2:30)

A Khalif means basically that you are a king upon earth sent from the King of kings (Allah(SWT)). As the Nature and everything created is under the rule of the King of Kings – Allah(SWT), so it will be for His chosen one, a Man who has reached the rank of Khalif.

Adam(A) who was chosen to be Khalif upon Eart, is a symbol of Mankind according to tafseers. So the same Verse gives testimony that in our current state we are not even near the rank of being Allahs(SWT) Khalif, rather this Verse describes what abyss we in reality dwell in:

We have created the human being in the best form
and We shall make him the lowest of low
except the righteously striving believers who will have a never ending reward (95:4-6).

As you progress towards the intimacy of Allah(SWT) and annihilate your ego in His infinite love, you will reach heights where the Nature and Law obeys you as they are compelled to obey Allah(SWT), and so they will obey His chosen ones upon earth.

To understand this better, look upon this World as a Country which needs a Ruler, a King. Everyone in the Country must obey the King, and so they do (if not they will naturally be punnished). If the King appoints a Minister to charge his affairs in a certain region, that region must obey the Minister as it is equal to obeying the King.

Allah(SWT) is the King and His Khalifs, those true Human beings who sacrificed all for His sake are His Ministers who are in charge of the region of this World.
The Prophets(A) where among them and as we know the ‘Ulema are the inheritors of the Seal of Messengers(S). And people like you and me can also become one of the Awliya(A), just as Maryam(A), Dhul Qarnain(A), Ashab al-Kahf(A), Khidr(A) etc etc.

That is why we read in ahadith about the Companions of the Awaited Saviour(AJ):

The companions of Imam-e-Zamaan (AJ) will be noble, learned and rulers
of the earth
(Al-Malaahem wa al-Fetan, p. 205.)

With Allah’s permission, they will enliven the dead, walk on water and ride on
clouds. They will have the power to traverse the entire earth within moments.
(Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol. 1, p. 144; Hilyah al-Abraar, vol. 2, p. 635 narrating from Dalaael al-Imaamah, p. 241.)

Everything on the earth, including wildbeasts and birds, will be obedient and submissive to them. Not only obedient, they shall even crave and strive to
acquire their satisfaction.
(Behaar al-Anwaar, vol. 52, p. 327 narrating from Kamaal al-Deen; Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol. 1, p. 117.)

The part of the earth on which they tread shall take pride over other parts.
(Behaar al-Anwaar, vol. 52, p. 327 narrating from Kamaal al-Deen; Mikyaal al-Makaarem, vol. 1, p. 117.)

They are normal persons like you and me, but who in their lives strove to become the true human being they where created as, and through that ascended beyond the angels, and not like us who have fallen into the bottomless well of animal desires.

Insha Allah that clarified.
For those who do not agree, please do provide with logics, reasoning and support your words with Divine sayins – all this which forms Islam.

And all praise is due to Allah.
