The Oath of Love

The sincere heart is only there
when you for the ego do not care
“I”, “you” and “me” are all lost
once you have the boarders of love crossed

In the thought of your beloved you are drowned
a love that arouses the mountains from the ground
even the birds are bewildered in this passion
and the shadows follow you in compassion

When denied you walk not away
did not the moon until dawn stay?
as you know that is to betray
instead you chase the wind that bear her scent
prostrate on the sand she through went
kissing the fire that touched her hand
with midnight breezes embrace where she stand
and convey unspoken words to her land

You roam through the valleys of night
like a king that catch all the sight
lift every star from its place to find
the princess that has your heart entwined

Close the lying outer eyes
open your heart if your wise
a slave of his desires is the man
while a prisoner of love is the woman

Now listen to my oath of love
I swear by love
since I fell in love
I lost myself and my beloved
and was consumed only in love..
