Love Testament

I cried out for you the other day
every tavern crave for you, today they were all grey
the strongest of wines, saved in the bottle for forty days
you are the best of drinkers, the master of drunkards
even the wizards fall prostrate before thee
let us not speak of the proud trees
they go humble once they profess thy creed
Mother Nature is an old widow in your presence
with your command, Majnoon and Layla are tied to one essence
Rustum flees the field when he meets your brave heart’s attendance
you govern the heavenly vessel
the clouds are veils, hiding your charisma
once they dissolve, the pearl will be robbed it’s glance
intoxicated lovers around this divine sailor dance
to such extent even devils pass
Shams-e-Tabriz is put in shadow by this mystical grace
the crazy magicians once drunk on your glass
will do as this madman, forget reality and fall in trans..

Under the moon’s luminous smile
a love testament written,
as my hand rules the pen of dusk
the tablet of my heart,
is drowned in the ink of musk
Hurry up, I am ready to go
tear apart the dress of unseen
and come along, walk with me on this endless shore !
