(A response to the poem “Undress“)

People interpret according to their heart, some interpretted it as sex, that I tell a woman undress and let me see (your naked body). However where in the poem did I mention any woman, or any femal charactics or any of the kind ?

Here is are 2 passages from Light Within Me, the part by Imam Khomeini(RA);

The real objective is to awaken our conscience so that we may be able to reach the veils of divine light after crossing the veils of darkness. According to a tradition there are 70,000 veils of divine light. The number of the veils of darkness is also stated to be the same. Further, the veils of divine light are also after all veils or screens. We have not yet come out of the veils of darkness, to say nothing of the veils of light. We are still wriggling in the veils of darkness.

The Qur’an has many degrees of meanings and has been revealed in 70 or 70,000 layers. Having been reduced in intensity in each layer it has come to us in a form which we may be able to understand with our limited intellect.

Perhaps one has reached a level where one sees light, but knows…after reading this Passage from the Invocation of Shabaniya;

My Lord, grant me complete severance of my relations with everything else and total submission to You. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts with the light of their looking at You to the extent that they penetrate the veils of light and reach the Source of Grandeur, and let our souls get suspended by the glory of Your sanctity.

that behind those spheres of Light and Colour there lays something more powerful and wonderful ?
When I say undress, I was refering to these Veils of Light, undress them, tear them away, and see the real beauty…the Source !
Let me see your Glory, oh Allah, and let me undress these veils of my desires in front of my eyes which only lets me see the light, let me penetrate these veils and behold the Source of Truth, this will make one pass away in ecstasy.

Ponder upon this Passage from Light Within Me by Imam Khomeini(RA) to;

As for the Prophets the Qur’an says at one place: And when his Lord revealed His glory to the mountain, He sent it crashing down. And Moses fell down senseless (Surah al-A’raf, 7:143). When Allah imparted special spiritual training to Moses he said to Allah: ‘My lord, let me see you.’ Obviously an eminent Prophet cannot ask for seeing Allah with his physical eyes. Therefore his request must have been for a kind of seeing appropriate to the seer and the object to be seen. But even this kind of seeing was not possible, Moses said to Allah: ‘My Lord! Let me see you.’ The answer was: ‘you will not see Me.’ Allah further said: ‘But gaze upon the mountain.’ What is meant by the mountain here? Does it signify Mount Sinai? Was it that the glory that could not be revealed to Moses, could be revealed to this mountain? If some other people had been present at the Mount Sinai at that time, could they also see the revelation of Allah’s glory? The sentence, ‘Gaze upon the mountain’ implies a promise. Allah said: ‘You cannot see Me. But gaze upon the mountain. If it stands still in its place, then you will see Me.’ (Surah al-A’raf, 7:143) There is a possibility that the mountain here might have meant the remnant of egoism still left in Moses. As the result of the revelation of glory the mountain was smashed. In other words egoism of Moses was completely done away with. ‘And Moses fell down senseless.’ That means that Moses reached the stage of completely passing away of his human attributes.

What happened to Moses is a story for us, but for the Prophets it is an experience. This experience has been narrated to us in the form of a story because we are not yet free from egoism. The mention of the mountain or the Mount Sinai is only for our sake.

And also as you know, the Metaphor for the Quran is Honey. So the deeper you go “into the Nectar” – the Closer you get to Allah rip of these Veils – You will taste the Honey, the Sweetness of the Quran.
As you know there is a Verse which says that this Quran is only for the Pure,

In a book that is protected
None shall touch it save the purified ones. / Holy Quran 56:78-79

The appart meaning is to have Wodoh (as Confirmed by the Science of Jurispudence – When Fatawi such as one is not allowed to touch the Quran, Allah’s Names etc except in a state of Purity, the Fuqaha refer to this verse), but if we go deeper…if your Heart is not in the State of Purity you will not recive the Quran and Grasp its Meaning, just its Words.
Why satisfy with the Name and not go for the Meaning ?
If what I say is not correct, then how come we spend 50-60 years reading the Words of the Quran without grasping its meaning ?
It has some impact on our soul…but for 50-60 years its nothing, and I promise you if you read the Quran just once, one page, in the State of Outward and Inward Purity with Contemplation it is better then the Read the Quran for those 50-60 years like a Robot.

And as far as exciting goes, did not all the Prophets (A) swoon as their hearts could not take the First Revalations ?
Didn’t it excite them to go for more of this spiritual wonders ?
I did not refer to sexuall excitment, rather the delight of the Soul to, once after it had tasted the Sweetness of True Worship, it would be excited for more, like a child wanting more candy, toys etc.
Was it not Imam Ali Zain al-Abedine (A) who said, “If I could I would sit under the Heaven, raise my hands, supplicate and cry until my eyes popped out for Allah, but I can’t as people have rights upon me”
Or was it not the Prophet of Mercy and Justice (S) who stood for prayers, nights long, for years, until his feet got swollen and the Verse, “Taha. We did not reveal this Quran to be a burden upon you” was revealed ?
You imagine that a Creature of Allah worships Him to such extent that He says don’t push yourself to much !
Imagine what state this Person had Before Allah, nay don’t…you will only Limit his (S) rank before the Almighty with your limited mind !
These Awliya Allah (Friends of Allah) wanted more, they left the worlds and craved for the Companionship of the Beloved Friend. Their Souls was excited to once again see the One they so painfully was separated from because people had rights upon them.

I promise that I was not refering to Sex at all, if I had I would not post it.

Thankyou for letting me defend myself.
Now if you wish to Ban me or Judge me, then please do so, at least this time both voices are heard.
I shall also inshallah speak with some ‘Alems regarding it and see what they say, just to show what I have done is not wrong, but people intepreted it wrongly and with they limited knowledge preached about fields unknown for them.

However I Love them all and May the Stroke of Forgivness embrace us all.
With Prayers for your Succes and Love

Salam and Love,
Ehsan
